Complio
As part of the requirements of the Nursing program, students must pass a background test, a 10 panel drug screen, and provide evidence of the the following vaccinations and insurances.
In order to accomplish this, we have partnered with American Database and the Complio system. All students wil be required to log in and create a profile on the Complio site (link below) and follow the instructions to complete the background check, drug screening, and provide verification of vaccines and insurance.
The needed verification requirements are listed below:
COVID-19
Individuals must submit evidence of complete immunization (a single Johnson and Johnson vaccine or two doses of Moderna or Pfizer), plus a booster (if eligible). For more information, see Campus Ready Testing and Vaccination page.
TB Risk Screening
If a student has not had a TB skin test in the last year they will need proof of 2 negative PPD skin tests (2-step). Tests can be 1-3 weeks apart. A negative QuantiFERON Gold Test or a clear chest x-ray will be accepted.
Each year, students need a TB renewal. A single PPD skin test meets the annual requirement as long as it is administered and read before 365 days have lapsed from two-step PPD skin test.
Measles, Mumps, & Rubella (MMR)
Two doses with first dose on or after first birthday; or positive titer (laboratory evidence of immunity to the disease).
Hepatitis B
Full immunization against Hepatitis B consists of three timed doses of vaccine over a minimum 4 to 6 months period.
Varicella (Chicken Pox)
Two doses with first dose on or after first birthday; OR positive titer (laboratory evidence of immunity)
Tdap
One dose in the last 10 years (must be age 19 or older at time of last booster). Td vaccine is not acceptable.
